Finding that perfect fit when it comes to suits or tuxedos can feel daunting, maybe a little unsure and some might not even know where to start. But, we're here to tell you it doesn't have to be that way - and frankly, it shouldn't be that way!
You should feel confident, secure and ready to own the room when you put on your suit and tux regardless of the occasion (even when purchasing over the internet). And that's exactly what we offer to you when shopping with BLACKTIE. We take pride in our stylish and trendy garments and formal accessories and assure that shopping online for your suit or tuxedo is actually easier and more stress free than you could have ever imagined.
If you're unsure of what the correct size (regular or slim fit) is for you, we offer four different ways to find your perfect fit: entering sizes directly, measure yourself, measure an existing suit or by using our size calculator.
1. Entering sizes directly
So, all four of these are pretty self-explanatory, but we want you to find the option that works best for you! Entering your sizes directly is perfect for those who are already know their sizes and are ready to browse and buy! Simply find the item you're looking for, check out our size chart (at the bottom of each individual product page), find your correct size and add to cart. It's really that simple.
2. Size calculator
Next up is our very cool and helpful size calculator. If you choose this option, simply follow the prompts and enter what you know. If you don't know everything, that's okay - just enter as much as possible. After you have answered all of the questions and preferences, our size calculator will total them up and provide you with the sizes that should best correlate to what you are looking for based upon the provided information. Cool, right?
3. Measure yourself
For those of you who want to measure yourself to get a clear idea of what might be the best fit, we offer the method that allows you to take your own measurements (with the help of a friend) to get accurate results. With this method, we walk you through step-by-step on which areas need to be measured and how to correctly take those measurements. You write them down as you go through the process and then correlate your specific measurements to find what size with BLACKTIE would work best for you! A little more depth and time to this method, but still super easy and gets you the results you need.
4. Measure an existing suit
And one last super easy method, because we've got your back and know you have other things to do - measure an existing suit. Have a suit that fits you perfectly? No worries, take the measurements of that suit and compare with our BLACKTIE measurements to find your match... again, easy as pie! Just remember that OUR version of slim fit is true to that of a European slim fit. Which means they run about one size smaller than the modern fit and have a slimmer waist (in other words, a truly slim fit). If you're going for a more true-to-size fit, our modern fit options are the way to go. See, something for everyone.
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter which option you pick, as long as it's the right option for you. The end result is supposed to be well-fitting to give you that boost of confidence and feeling like you're ready to own the room. #blacktieowntheroom
