Awards season has officially come to a close with the one and old Oscars. The event of the season where the best of the best gather to celebrate and reward outstanding directors, performances, actors, costumes and everything in-between.
Awards season has been a pretty big win thus far, so it was no surprise that everyone not only showed up in high spirits, but dressed to impress. The Oscars have an elegance that makes it a stand-alone and respective show. The women wear absolutely gorgeous gowns and the men break wear only the best looking tuxedos on the market!
As always, we watched the red carpet with our eyes glued to the screen notating the men that turned heads and were winners in our eyes. One thing that remains the same for the Oscars is that the black tuxedo is the go-to color. Sure, it's shown off in different designers, styles and materials - but, a classic black tuxedo is always the front runner.
Without further ado, our five favorite men's tuxedo looks from the 2020 Oscars.
It goes without saying that Leo is one of the greatest actors of our time. He's extremely talented, loved by the industry and knows how to rock a tuxedo like nobody's business. Leo stunned in a Giorgio Armani black tuxedo which solidified his regal Hollywood status (as if he needed it).
One of Leo's greatest friends and another Hollywood legend, Brad Pitt, looked nothing short of spectacular and Oscar worthy in his well-fitted tux. The black velvet tuxedo jacket has been really popular this past year and for right reasons! It's tasteful and understated in the absolute best way.
This Brit sure knows how to dress in style. George turned heads in his double-breasted Dunhill tuxedo jacket. The simplicity of his coordinating black bow tie really completed the look.
Leave it to the stylist of the stars and our favorite red carpet style panelist Brad Goreski to show up in anything short of something breathtaking. And that is exactly what this stand out Alexander McQueen tuxedo did.
Sporting an all-black Giorgio Armani tuxedo look is the hysterical writer, producer and actor Tony Hale. There is something so chic about a head-to-toe black ensemble and it takes a certain sort of confidence to pull off. One that Tony without a doubt has. Absolutely one of our favorites of the night!
